OFFICIAL BIO

Isabella Polit was inspired at a very young age to give back to those less fortunate. Her frequent trips to Ecuador (South America) to her family’s plantation fostered a curiosity in the bees that would pollinate the palm oil and cacao trees. Also witnessing the poverty in the region, she saw bees as givers of life and encouraged the creation of a bee farm stateside, in Homestead, Florida – where the charity, BeeCauseWeCare, was conceived.

As an attendee at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami, Florida, her love of reading and writing has led her to serve as Editor-in-Chief and Social Media Manager of The Carrollton Post. Her civic duties reach beyond charity work as she is the President and Founder of the Young Hispanic Leaders Club, where they spread awareness about sexual harassment and empower women to explore the pros and cons of all reproductive options.

An honor student, she is active in numerous charitable endeavors most recently taking a trip to the Dominican Republic, is a co-captain of the Carrollton JV Soccer Team, and is a member of the International Honor Society for High School Journalists.

In her free time, she plays piano (having studied for more than 10 years and performs at the National Piano Guild yearly) and enjoys horseback riding and being a Girl Scout. Isabella’s entire story has yet to be written as she looks forward to graduating from high school in the Summer of 2023 and is currently an International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate.
